The Santral Istanbul, at the upper end of Golden Horn in the Eyüp district of Istanbul, was  the first power station of the Ottoman Turkey which served from 1914 to 1983 for supplying Istanbul with electric power.
In 2004, before its renovation and  conversion to arts and cultural complex I visited location with dear friend Ara Guler to do some documentary photos. In this portfolio you will see few of the images taken at this project.
